What part of TravCon are you most excited about?

“I’m most excited to meet people face-to-face. TravCon is a great opportunity to meet people in person and move conversations from texting and phone calls to something more personal. Last time I was at TravCon, I talked to so many people that I lost my voice on the second day!”

What advice do you have for the healthcare professionals going to TravCon?

“First and foremost, make sure you talk to as many people as you can. TravCon is a place where you can really build up your community and make a lot of traveler friends. These are the people who can lend support during tough assignments – so make sure you stay in touch. I also highly recommend going to as many educational sessions as you can, they are always filled with a lot of helpful information.”

What’s something no traveler should leave TravCon without?

“A list of the top companies and people you want to work with! That way you can remember who you want to connect with after TravCon.”

What’s your favorite swag item Ventura MedStaff is offering?

“Our neon waterproof pool bags! They are perfect to take to the TravCon pool parties and keep all your important items with you AND dry!”

She lives on a farm in a small town with her kids and husband where she also loves to golf and watch her kids play sports in her free time.

What part of TravCon are you most excited about?

“I’m most excited to meet new people! I love to build relationships with my travelers so that it doesn’t ever feel transactional. One of my favorite parts of being a recruiter is becoming friends with my travelers and getting to play matchmaker to help them find an assignment they are really going to love!”

What advice do you have for the healthcare professionals going to TravCon?

“Make sure you take it all in and experience everything that TravCon has to offer. I also would recommend bringing an extra suitcase or bag that you can fill up with all the free swag that will be there!”

What’s something no traveler should leave TravCon without?

“At least one new connection or friend. TravCon is a great place to meet people you otherwise would only get to interact with online. “

What’s your favorite swag item Ventura MedStaff is offering?

“Our $3,000 travel voucher to Nashville is pretty great – but honestly all of the items! Make sure you grab everything on our table when you come to see us for that extra suitcase you’re bringing!”

“This will be my first year attending TravCon and I am so excited to meet people face-to-face! It will be a great opportunity to network, hang out with coworkers, and meet amazing new travelers.”

What about TravCon are you most excited about?

“I’m most excited to meet new travelers, but also to connect with the current travelers I have who will be attending! Being a recruiter means a lot of texting and phone calls, but it will be so exciting to show my passion in person and build relationships face-to-face.”

What advice do you have for the healthcare professionals going to TravCon?

“Take it all in. There are going to be so many different companies, staffing agencies, recruiters, etc. that it will be easy to feel overwhelmed. But at the end of the day, this is the best place to learn, build relationships, and have fun! So, make sure you take a deep breath and get ready to soak it all up.”

What’s something no traveler should leave TravCon without?

“Join at least one traveler-based Facebook group, one that isn’t run by recruiters. This way you can stay connected after TravCon and get advice from travelers in the industry. I also recommend leaving with a top three list of companies and recruiters that you talked to! You’ll want to find someone who is going to look out for you, always has your next steps in mind, and is someone you can build a bond with. Go with your gut!”

What’s your favorite swag item Ventura MedStaff is offering?

“I have got to choose the waterproof pool bags. They’re neon and so fun!”
