Job Summary:

As a Therapy Recruiter/Client Manager with Ventura MedStaff, you will be responsible for both the recruitment and client management for our Therapy team.

As a Therapy Recruiter you will be prospecting & developing quality healthcare professionals for our client facilities.

As a Client Manager you will be the lead point of contact and oversee a portfolio of assigned clients/accounts, develop new business from existing clients, and actively seek new sales opportunities for travelers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain long lasting relationships with healthcare professionals, clients, and clients’ accounts.
  • Responsible for the recruitment cycle and management of healthcare professional; sourcing, interviewing, reference checks, housing, assignment and travel.
  • Prospects and makes initial calls/contacts with potential and existing clients to learn about their needs and provide information on Ventura’s services and how we can support their needs.
  • Negotiate bill rates and presentation of fee schedules for services.
  • Gate keeper of all healthcare travelers’ submission to ensure each candidate meets client expectations and increases probability of placements.
  • Plays a fundamental role in setting up new businesses, responsible for the effective boarding of new clients.
  • Ability to solve problems when issues arise.
  • Have effective communication with internal and external teams.
  • Meet personal and team sales targets.
  • Attend and participate in meetings and events that occur.
  • Be the ambassador of the company, by providing a positive and professional manner to our travelers and clients.
  • Performs other related duties, as assigned.

Supervisory Duties:

  • Oversee the daily workflow and assignments of their traveling employees.
  • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
  • Manage traveling employees time and attendance.
  • Handles discipline and termination, in accordance with company policy.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Basic clerical and administrative skills.
  • Must be self-motivated and goal oriented.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to solve problems as they arise.
  • Positive and go-getting attitude.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; required
  • 1 year of Travel Nursing or recruitment experience preferred/Therapy clinician experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift up to 15 pounds.

Salary Range:

  • $42,000.00/ annually + unlimited commission
